Yeah, they do look a bit ugly, but nothing near what the crimp bent pipes looked like.

Sounds great! The tips are perfect! The bends, they look completely horrible!
Damn man, that sounds incredible, even with your stock cats. Was that idle a warm idle? That sounds way better than mine does. Your advange of a smaller cab helps but those 14" rounds sound great, and they will break in a little in notime due to the low amount of wool in them.
That startup sounded mean and the takeoff sounded badass. I could only imagine once you you get the high flows. A buddy of mine who works on custom trucks told me the 4.6s sound better than the 5.4s... I would have to agree. What size tips are those? How much would your setup run if you actually bought the parts instead of robbing magnaflow's warehouse like I suspect you did? LOL
lol, you discovered my methods! $196 for all the parts, and the actual job only cost $150. The tips are 3.5x18 rolled tips. It took me a while to finally settle on the style of tips.
Hey Nice setup! I was wondering, does it make a difference whether the mufflers are in front of or behind the X pipe?? Or is it just a space issue? And I haven't really looked into it that much, but can you get cats with inserts for the sensors or do you use stocks parts fro that or what? Honestly this is the first Ive looked into this so sorry for being uneducated about it haha. Im 17 and am looking for ideas for my truck after I get the money set back. I have a small leaf in on of my cats and I have an exhaust leak further up towards the engine. So I need the upper taken care of and I want the back of my exhaust for sounds sake worked on as well. I'm thinking this just calls for a new complete setup haha. So eventually, Headers, cats, and a couple magnaflows or maybe cherry bomb glasspacks for me out the back! haha Time and Money will determine!
The X/H-pipe always need to be in front of the mufflers, it also needs to be pretty close to where the Y-pipe was. As for cats, just get a set of Magnaflow hi-flow cats, and the exhaust shop can weld in an O2 bung right after the cat.
Damn man you drove right past my house in that interior sound video. Watch out for d'ville's finest at that car wash.
Anyways, exhaust sound awesome. Im sure ill pass you sometimes to hear it as you go by. Who did the work for you?
