Exhaust tip question

Hey guys, I purchased a flowmaster 40 muffler few months ago and it sounds great but I'm sick of looking at the stock pipe sticking out. Does anyone recommend a good looking tip that doesn't look just like a slip-on? My truck is a 06 4x4. Thanks

x2. Summit Racing has excellent exhaust tip style filters to help you find the right one.

Ok so 2.5 in 3.5 out 12" long. Are there any good bolt-ons or should I just go ahead and have it welded? Thanks again

do u have a single pipe? i would change it all to 3" for best performance and get a tip thats 3" in 3.5 out. spend the little extra money and have it welded. if u want a good quality tip that wont golden as quick as others, get a double wall tip.

I would have it welded and installed by a shop. The tailpipe diameter is 2.75" on 04+ trucks so the end of the tailpipe will need flanged down to 2.5" to fit the tip.

make sure you get a Stainless tip and if you are replacing pipe then get stainless if possible. anything else wont last at all
