Question New headers

Hi,
I'm looking to get a set of direct bolt-on, smog legal, headers to replace the stock manifolds due to the fact that my passenger side manifold is cracked. I don't want to get another stock manifold. What are your guys recommendations?
Thanks

OBx, Pacesetter and Dynatech would be your best choices not sure if there smog legal but these are the more popular brands on here

the good ole' tree huggin state of CA, Long tubes would make the most power while I was in MD I had a emissions test every 2 years and never had a issue but I'm sure there is some law out there where you wont be able to pass inspect I'm sure some guy from out there will chime in

Yep, Homofornia has emission tests so strict that if you have long tube headers, you automatically fail the test, even if you actually would pass.

I'm looking at the Bank torque tubes. Also Edelbrock makes a ceramic coated header.
Baggin on where I live isn't cool you live where you gotta live. I don't especially like it at times but that's life.

I dont see why he wouldn't, the only thing that I can see failing it is the volume, but with a proper sized muffler theres nothing to worry about. Either way, manifolds and headers do not filter gases, the cats are the very first part of the exhaust that does.

yeah i had long tubes on a GMC Yukon with an 18" magnaflow. the truck was probably 20% louder than my truck is now. i didnt have any problems passing smog. if you need a good place to go, theres a smog shop next to my exhaust and mechanic in thousand oaks.
