okay thanks. Yeah it kind of sucks cause FedEx lost the package too. Contacted Dell, they said they shipped it. Have the tracking number and everything (last thing it says was it was in Del Rio). Contacted FedEx, they say they never saw the package nor have any information on it. Well then why can I track it? Good thing Dell's a good company and is building another unit for us. I et they're a little angry that their first $1,300 disapeared into thin air. That's just my soap box and just another reason for why I always ship UPS. Go Brown!

Thanks, I think you answered my question.
I just want something that sounds better under acceleration. Especially when towing the trailer up steep mountain passes. Thow the 22" into the mix.

If you didn't know it was a different muffler, you might not notice.

Often I wish I'd gone with the 18" because I'd like a little more "growl," but when I'm towing the trailer to go camping with the wife, I remember why I like the 22, as well. I think she's happier without the added noise (and, therefore, I am happier, too!).

Actually, think about the 24". It's longer, but it's smaller around, so it's just a tad bit louder than the 22", I'm told.

Also, if I'm remembering correctly, I could have sawzall'd the stocker out and installed the 24" myself without needing any add'l pipe.

I am guessing that its 2.5 in and out, but is it centered or offset?

Center/offset IIRC. Give Magnaflow a call, and they can confirm. I suggest performancepeddler.com for the purchase. Coupon code "clubgp" will get you a good discount.

I don't rememebr my '99 muffler being that big at all. Sounds like you'll be adding pipe no matter what. And maybe you gaot a bad CS rep. The guy I spoke with back then was very helpful.

I'm almost certain '97 - '03 mufflers are 26"s long.

04 - 05s are 32"s, 06 - 08 may also be 32 but I believe someone measured one to be 30".
