The loudest most cat-less sounding cats Magnaflow offers are the 94106 cats.

being that it is Illinois and with all the stupid rules they have, it could be illegal. More than likely as long as it isnt too obnoxious you should be able to get by, and if your lucky can talk your way outta any situation they get you into.

why dont you put the cut out before your cat? then it will be real straight pipes. as far as it being legal, my understanding is that if you have cats and mufflers than your exhaust is leagal and will pass an inspection but it may be different in your state. Ive also herd that some states say that any modification to your stock exhaust system is considered a violation so check to be sure.

you can check out my cut outs in my album, i just had them put in!!!

heres a link to them if you like them: http://marylandspeed.com/dmh-low-pro...ut-p-1313.html

the only thing i have found is cutouts are illegal on IL highways but says nothing about normal streets

the truck is mine and my dads and he does not want it to be illegal so he is telling me to put the sutouts after the cats or no cutouts

i like the poppy raspy ****

thanks for the feedback
