My friend has a 2006 F150 Reg Cab and want a complete exhaust that will pass emissions testing. I've been doing some reading but still have a couple questions.

Will the Borla kit # 140137 fir the Reg Cab with a mod or two? It says Ext Cab and crew Cab.

I told him to replace the secondary cat with a high flow Magnaflow piece. Is this about as good as it's going to get and keep the smog police happy?

Does FRRP make some shorty headers that will replace the stock setup? I am a member over at the NLOC and drive a 93 Lightning with a complete Bassani exhaust. With it was as easy to order parts for his 2006 F150. Thanks guys!

 

What kind of exhaust does he want? Over priced cat-back or a custom job?

 

Shorten the intermediate pipe and it will fit. What is the bed size? Its not the 8' I would guess, there may be tailpipe fitment issues with an 8' bed, but the 6'5 bed should be fine. If its too much of a risk, call Borla and ask.
