Results after Maggie Installment

I've had my exhaust for 3 weeks or so now and sounds geat. I have a light foot and noticed a few things. My idle once warmed up is now is the 500 something range. Also at 30 - 40mph I can have the rpms at 1k when cruising. my truck always has run great since I've had it, but it seems to be the best yet and it even shifts at 1200 rpms and accelerates pretty good well below 2k. Anyone else seen results like this since adding the Magnaflow exhaust? (btw, city driving looks to yield 16-17mpg now up from jsut over 15)

Sorry dude but there is no way your getting 2MPG gain from a muffler..... It's in your head? Im light on the throttle and all i can muster up is a whopping 13 maybe 13.5 at best hwy 11 around town

Not at all. I was just over 15mpg, so I am getting about a 1-1.5 increase. Don't forget, it is breathing better and so requires less of me pushing the gas. My truck is very interesting around town. Shifts barely over 1k and accelerates at low rpms. Miles driven / gallons is what I did. Not head things at all. It sounds crazy but already since I just about filled up the other day, 73 miles and I have not even used a quater tank. Just about a 1/8.

To migdaddy, Will you be my friend? hahaha. I'm still relatively new, maybe it's the new kid on the block thing :o

I noticed my idle has dropped to the high 490s to 600 average depending on if in neutral or drive, and a 1.1mpg increase due to the true duals ( excellent for highway ) a loss of low end pep on dead take offs to pulling loads, but overall much better than the ole 32" zig zagged flow path OEM muffler.
