i know this is all over this thread but i'm needing a direct answer.. i'm wanting to do my exhaust like jlstang351, except without the high flow cats. there are no emission checks here at all so i'm in the clear. his setup is

x pipe
2 flow super 44's
2.5 pipe

my truck is a 06 fx4 screw. all i want to do is a x pipe and the flowmasters.
here is the x pipe i'm going to order.

what do i need to do about my oxygen sensers? most everyone on here has the high flow cats and they put them before the cats..where do i need to put them? I've searched on summit for mil eliminators and also ebay which exactly do i need to get? a little help would be greatly appriciated

Your O2s are only involving the cats so if you are not modifying them why would you have to touch them? The go after the hi-flow cats not before. If you were to go hi-flow cats the sensors need to be re-mounted after them in the pipe. You will not need MILs or O2 Sims if done this way.

This will work to keep the CEL from coming on.

that is correct. i'm in a state that doesn't do inspection checks or anything like that. Isn't the reason ppl put high flow cats is so they can pass the inspections? if that's the case and if running high flow cats doesn't make a difference in performance or sound then why would i spend an extra 150 bucks if i didn't have too?

technically yes, and another reason to opt for hi-flows over no cats is better low end energy ( mild difference ) and to not be overly loud. But put O2 sims on the O2s and have them re-installed in the pipe, it will keep the light off.
