Is this the final answer? - Moroso Spiral Flows

Mine at least, I have made up my mind on my exhaust setup and now all I'm doing is waiting on the mufflers. Tell me what you think...

True duals with the factory cats in place (warranty issues) flowing into a Shelby Mustang GT500KR X Pipe back to two Moroso spiral flows and ran out the back. I think it's going to be the setup and as soon as I find a camera I'll post some clips. All the tubing will be 2.5" SS. I think this will be optimal for performance without sacrificing back pressure.

I will be running the DWM intake mod and cutting off the mufflers on the intake and Amsoil filter. If I come up with a way to make it look stock I'll pass it on.

Here is a link to the Moroso's. I decided to go with the natural mufflers in case it's crap. At $52 a pop, I won't loose to much cash or sleep.

Tell me your thoughts. If your gonna laugh at it, laugh

Cool. The GT500 X pipe is not a catted one is it? Its just a plain X pipe? Make sure of that cause you dont want to end up having 6 cats lol. I would just buy a basic stainless X pipe for $50. You'll be alright with 2.5" but you'll notice the low end loss when you tow over 5,000lbs. If you have a 5.4L I wouldn't modify that intake until you have a custom tune for it because it will run lean. If you have the 4.6L you'll be fine un-tuned, but a tune would be best to make the maximum power possible.

Thanks for the heads up. I planned on booting the Evo back to stock before turning the key on the mods. In the email I recieved from the x pipe seller, he said it work as a resonator for the exhaust, but I am clueless as to whether it's cat or non-cat. Link included, not bad for under 40 bucks. My only gripe is I have to keep the cats, but then again, I am getting a warranty. Now all thats left is to sell my K&N FIPK and some other parts sitting around.

If you keep your stock filter box and do your mods to the intake tube. You probably won't run lean until WOT. The key is keeping the stock filter location. If you want the best bang for your buck do the custom tuning route also.
