magnaflow piping

is this the whole pipe from the muffler to the swept exit behind the rear tire? if so, why would the whole setup cost $550+ if it's just this plus a muffler and tip?
i may end up just using this pipe and placing my own muffler in.

best thing to do is make your own with a muffler. I dont know why but magnaflows kits have just about doubled in price since I bought mine 1.5 years ago.

It costs that much because your buying a lifetime warrantied exhaust, all stainless steel piping which will last forever, mandrel bent pipes that are 1 full size most healthy for performance and sound, and a simple DIY install.

Buying a muffler and tips is a cheaper remedy but most shops charge crazy for stainless steel piping and mandrel bending to the pouint that a cat-back is cheaper.

but this is just the piping for around $70 shipped...it's stainless steel magnaflow; i can weld it up myself and don't really care about warrantied exhaust enough to pay so much extra money for it.

So buy it and save yourself a few bucks. Looks like you found a deal.
