When i first read the post, i was a little confused. Are they working on your truck, or just bending pipe and using Cherry Bombs in general?

just seemed a little funny is all.. maybe it's just in my head.

I would use 2.5 everywhere... No bigger. I have a cherry bomb 3in./ 2x2.5 out and it sounds great. Post up some vids when its all done!

Ok so its a single in, dual out ( SI/DO ) not cherrybomb(s) as in true duals.

Keep it 3" from the Y pipe to the muffler and 2.5" tailpipes, you'll be good. I would imagine its the Cherrybomb Extreme muffler?

My vortex kit is the 3"in/2.5"out SIDO but it only came with 3x18" tips, what is the pro/con of the smaller tip? Just curious?

Unless someone has been to that shop, nobody could tell you if they are any good or not.

Cherry Bomb is a good product. Glasspacks have been around for years without any problems.

I know the shop is good. I am going true duels. I was just wondering if people have had any luck with the cherry bomb mufflers. ( not glass packs ). Sorry for the confusion.
I thought you all could read my mind. But it was empty.

Nothing at all, just a cheaper price.

Don't put a glass pack on a truck! All the lil pukes with lil ricers use those cheap things! I was choosing between Cherry Bomb or Magnaflow, well I got the CB Vortex 14" SI/SO 2.5" with a 4"/14" stainless tip. And I'm very pleased with the sound. Not overly loud, but a nice rumble at start up and when you hit the throttle, which was what I wanted! When the owner of the shop pulled it around front, I had a huge smile on....

people have been putting glasspacks on trucks for decades. the reason ricers sound like crap is because they are 4 cylinders.

It really all depends on the engine, pipes, and tuning of the car if it will sound good or not.
