Hard to find exhaust

Having a hard time finding a Magnaflow exhaust that fits the 07 SCREW Longbed (78"). It may be me?! Anyone have any recommendations or another exhaust company that is recommended for someone who is looking for "milder" sounding system but similiar power output. Thanks in advance!

get one of the longer magnaflow mufflers and bring it to an exhaust shop. they can fix you up.

The Magnaflow 16614 kit should work.

I have an '08 Screw with the 78" bed. I put an MBRP cat back system on. Here is my best try at a youtube clip.

Got it at TruckChamp.com

Just go to an exhaust shop. Its generally cheaper to have a custom welded together. Ive always done this and its easier on you. If something breaks you get to take it back and they fix it.

This is what I did, I had a 14" SISO maggie welded in, and added a 3.5" rolled tip. Out the door I think I paid around $100.

Great ideas. I'm sure they (the exhaust shops) would be able to use the stainless pipes for the install, correct?

Aluminized should be fine. That's what the stuff is in front of the muffler anyway.

A local shop said $350 parts/labor for the Flowmaster series and piping (that's what they push)...Deal or no Deal (bring in a Magnaflow)?

Depending on your winter weather (i.e. salted roads), I would pay the extra and get a Stainless Steel cat-back system. I know from personal experience that flowmasters and the cheap thin walled aluminized pipes that shops use rust quickly.

Of course Flowmaster now has stainless and you could get stainless pipe. I bet Darren would know or find out if the Magnaflows that fit the '09 78" Screw bed would fit the '07. I don't see why they wouldn't.

Yours looks even better than mine did. I went through 2 systems in about 7 years. We use a lot of salt in WV.

I have had the same problem with finding one myself for my SCrew with longbed. Im almost ready to give in and buy the MBRP but afraid that its gonna be alot louder than the Magnaflow.
After looking at the Magnaflow site I wondered the same thing if the kit for the 09 would fit the 07-08 trucks. However I think the 09s are longer as they increased the front door size didnt they.. Which I guess wouldnt be a issue, you would just cut off the extra length. But not sure if the hangers would all line up... Looking for dual split/sides.

Darren anyway you can find out for us?
