Ok, heres what happened. Went to a local exhaust shop to have my magnaflow installed using stock tailpipe. Dude really screwed it up (so bad that I now have to get another factory tailpipe). Rather than argue with him, I will fix it right myself. You know how it is sometimes; cut your loses and move on, just spread the bad word-of-mouth business to all your buddies.
My question is, what all years will work on my '04 scab, short bed w/ 5.4? Ford will only sell muff/t.p. together. Magna wont sell tail pipe, just catback systems. So I am in need of a stock tailpipe. I ordered one fron NAPA, but not too happy (not mandrel bent).
I hv seen several 4 sale on here, but not sure what all years will work.

if all you need is the tailpipe just take it a different shop and they can make one for your right there, find a shop that has a mandrel machine and you are set.

 

x2, just go to a shop that will actually bend you a new tailpipe and install the muffler.

 

What about junk yards?
