summer towing duties, trips would be between 2-8hr drives, some into the mountains. trailer is 4100# loaded no more than 6000#, just wondering how a 50 delta flow would be towing now i do plan to put long tubes with hi flows and a gryphon. i like the sound of the flowmasters 50 series and with 2 kids in the back am wondering if it would be quiet enough

I'm almost certain any muffler with long tubes and hi flows, will not be quiet at all! 50 series, is a good muffler for towing and so forth. You could do it easily, it'll be loud going up those mountains with hi flows and long tubes though.

Gotta love Flowmaster sound. I'm not sure how much 10000kms a year is, but I would def get the stainless.

it'd be like 6300 miles, so you think the 50 delta flow would be alright for daily driving and towing? just don't want it to be too loud for the wife and kids, if it were up to me i'd look at the 40 series

I think it'd be okay. You sure you don't want to check our Magnaflow? If it were up to you, it'd be the super 44!

70 series Big Block is meant for larger displacement engines, such as Diesels. Dont put one of those on a small block half ton. Otherwise you should have no issues with towing with a Flowmaster muffler, just hope you enjoy interior drone.
