Dump question

I just installed a Saleen exhaust that someone was selling on here. I has a good sound at startup. But I am not a fan of tips or seeing the pipes at all. I am a retard when it comes to anything on a truck other than the stereo, so:

1. How big of a difference would there be in the sound if I just removed the tail pipes at the muffler?

2. Do I need to have a small amount of pipe turned towards the ground off the muffler? Or is just the lenght of pipe used to attach the tail pipe enough?

thanks for all input

Just got my truck, so I will be getting pics up soon.

if you dump it it will be a bit louder in the cab due to the echo, I have a pice of pipe bent downwards on my truck right before the rear axle.

You can ditch the tailpipes, as stated it will be louder inside, and you really should put some turn down pipes on it.
