A local guy here selling his K&N FIPK intake from his 06 5.4L
my truck is an 05 4.6L anyone know that it can be mod to fit my engine?

can you???? YES, is it worth it absolutly not by time you buy a new MAF, cut the puipe down and buy a new connector and have it tuned

you'd be better off buying one from a '97-'03 or newer 4.6 2 valve truck or the gotts mod

 

thanks for the reply, I though is just simmply cut down the pipe, since $120 is heck of the deal.

 

yeah the 3 valves use a different MAf than the 2 valves and the TB is a different location/angle than the 2 valves


look at this, it'll save you some $$ and yield you better results
