I have a question- about a year ago I replaced my IAC valve due to a crazy "humming" noise after adding a cold air intake kit. Now it is surging at idle. I pulled and cleaned it but it is back- probably a bad part? My real question is what are the consequences of not replacing it in a hurry? I know it sounds goofy that $60 may be a lot right now, but things are tighter than an 18 year-old in a strip joint for the first time's jeans.
