Magnaflow Round Body Mufflers

So...our 08 5.4l will be getting a over haul but the wife has some requirements when it comes to exhaust and so do I. I hate the fact that the wife doesn't want the 5.4l loud making my 4.2l with dual glasspacks louder, lol. I was hell bent on the Roush O/R dual side exit exhuast but can't get over the $570 price tag just to see how it will sound and it's a hell of a lot easier the way I'm about to do it. I don't like my exhuast showing at all so under the truck it stays but the wife hates the interior ressonance my glasspacks have so here's what's going down. One Mag round body 4" muffler, maybe some extra straight pipe to take it towards the rear of the vehicle more adding a turn down pipe just to keep it from the cab as far as possible. If she thinks it's too loud inside we will talk about getting Roush so it shoots out the side, if she wants it louder the round body allows me to cut the y-pipe, add a x-pipe and do a true dual setup. Everyone wins. Total cost for one muffler, turn down pipe and some extra straight pipe is less than $150. I'm not one of those guys that wants to change exhaust a thousand times and VA is expensive to do this. I'm going to try the cheaper route then if I hate the sound we will move onto something else but $570 for something I've never heard is not how I roll. Any thoughts?]

You can get it cheaper at performancepeddler.com

Anything I've ordered from there included free shipping, not to mention when you add it to your cart they let you make an "offer" on what you'd pay for it and they'll give you an even BETTER price than what's listed!

yeah I saw that link in another thread and check it out then it asked what I wanted to pay for it. I was pretty confused so how does it work, what if you bid really low like $1?

The 4" round body 18" muffler should suit you well.

Doesn't matter what you "bid" they just email you their rock bottom price and a promotion code to punch in so you can get it when you check out.

That's a plus, I'm still thinking one glasspack will do the job and since their less than $25 I might do that, if it's too loud we will get the Magnaflow and do a swap. Thanks for the input.
