loud exhaust

I just picked out what wheels and tires im wanting to get for my f150 and now im trying to decide on exhaust. I don't really want a mellow sounding exhaust i want it to be loud, but i dont want it to loud to where if i had a person riding with me i couldnt have a conversation with that person but i still want it to where if im just crusing along it will be loud and not have to step on it to be loud.

I dont know if i should get a hole new exhaust system or what could i do to the stock exhast to get it loud. Any replies are appreciated.

Its an 04 with the 5.4.
Idk if this would matter at all but it has the 3.55 gears instead of the 3.73's like alot of trucks have.

Ok you have 4 cats so you should be able to run true duals straights with an x-pipe and get the sound you are looking for without being too loud. If you want or have to have a muffler I would recommend the dynomax bullet, it sounds great and is loud.

If you want cheap, just run true duals x pipe. Or get rid of the cats and just run pre cats, and then super 44.

Straights will be louder and more aggressive. Check my sig to see what straights sound like, yours will be quieter because you have 4 cats and I only have 2.

Yes, removing the rear 2 cats will make it louder and add some power.
