Thinking of ditching my muffler

Hey everyone. I've had a Borla Pro XS SI/DO on my 05 SCab and I'm thinking of taking it off. My question to all you exhaust guru's is how much louder will my truck be with the muffler off? I still have my stock cats on. Is there just as much drone in the cab with a muffler as there is without one? The drone of this Borla is driving me crazy. I don't mind a little bit louder but I don't want popping and crackling. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Taking it off, will make it a lot louder, and will make it always pop and crackle.

Just remove your rear 2 cats. Should give you what you want!

Removing your muffler will increase the drone DBs along with increase the rasp of acceleration, and pop during back pressure coasts.

Removal of the rear cats would be a good suggestion if you can still get inspected, but the drone will kick up a couple DBs too.

Is your muffler mounted all the way under the bed? If its under the cab any thats probably one reason you hear it so much.
