throttle body and spacer

I was wondering if there is any performance gain by installing a larger throttle body or throttle body spacer on a basically stock engine. Mods include afe intake, superchip flash paq, and a 3 in y pipe back exhaust with a super40 dumped under the bed. I have been looking at the BBK 80mm throttle and an airraid or afe spacer. will i feel or gain any extra power? I have future plans to add long tube headers, cams, and a supercharger.

Waste of money. Port/polish your stock throttle body. The spacer is useless for the most part. Some people have plumbed them for nitrous jets though, which works great. Get rid of the superchip and get some custom tunes written for your mods.

throttle body spacers are worthless on the ford modular engines, you can gain some power with the Throttle Body and other mods but you will a custom tune before you install it.

Fuel injected engines & TB spacers, a waste. Only good for carburated.
