Cat Back and Cold Air

Just purchased a 2008 F250 XLT 4x4 with the 5.4 3v engine in it. Looking to install a Cat Back exhaust and a Cold Air intake. Any suggestions?? Thanks

PS: Will any of this void the Factory Warranty??

Topics have been beat to death...youtube catback f150, listen and decide from there. Intakes are a waste of $ imo, do the gotts/php etc mod for $8 and call it good.

RESEARCH!!!

factory warranty?? depends on your stealership, I wouldn't do anything to the intake without a custom tune due to the 3 valve motors wanting to run lean.

follow the advice of jimmyv13 and use you tube and the search feature at the top right of this page

I've had my truck about 2 1/2 years, and I just decided last week on which catback I wanted. I drove my truck off the lot and was already thinking about making it louder. It's not an easy decision and I am a bit **** when it comes to spending $. I get pissed when I buy something and find out the next day there was something better, cheaper, etc. Being an engineer at heart really helps/hurts my decision making...I only make calculated risks.

Good luck!
