Those XR-1s are loud m-f'ers! They are a race series muffler and sound pretty sweet. $130 per muffler though, I almost bought both my Magnaflows for that price.

Close. Borla ceramic coats their mufflers, which makes them louder than Magnaflow at throttle and idle, their internal packing isn't accessed by the sound as much as Magnaflow.

Yeah, they are loud, I think just within the db levels for the street? without going WOT, thought I read a compare somewhere while researching mufflers. I was wanting to go louder than what I have on there now, and something that'll last a while.

no codes runs like a raped ape im not going to lie tho its a little loud i scared this little old lady on a bicyle, no more pics really it all staight foward, take the wheel wells out drop the 4wd drive shaft if your 4x4, take the oil dip stick out, you are going to need one of those flexible unions for your socket (i broke the one) i had to put electrical tape on the flexible coupling so it would stay put, another tip if you having trouble getting it in place cut the bottom flange so there are slots not holes so you can start your bottom bolts hang the header in place while you add the top bolts if you need any help let me know how it goes

I figured your foot would be in it some for awhile. I work with my truck, so generally its my daily driver. I'm a 20yr old paying bills & a mortgage with a semi good income, so I want good economy out of my truck because gasoline fill ups once to twice a week isn't cheap. Atleast I paid it off. Generally I just want the power and sound with a guarantee my economy wont fall south before I buy a set eventually.

lol awesome. Well I meant I work with my truck, my bed is full nearly every day. I pull trailers around here and there and haul occasionally. I dont have the funds to get another vehicle at the moment, and like my father, I inherited the greed
