Its better for performance to keep it single, with a dual outlet muffler. But if your performing your performance out then duals could operate right with the right pipe size so scavenging remains high keeping low end power high.

2 mufflers are louder and sound better IMO. i went from a Y pipe flowmaster to true duals and a H pipe, didnt notice the slightest difference in power change. feels exactly the same.

Yes. It will sound good as long as you go 3" in 2.5" dual out with 4" tips.

A muffler swap with tailpipes and tips installed will average $250 - $350 depending on tax, labor, and part charges. If they are bending your tailpipes mandrel style ( smoothest bends ) and warrantying your exhaust you will be alright.

Yeah, Unless you have extreme knowledge in welding and so forth, 350 is not bad at all. That's what I paid for my Flowmaster, 2 tailpipes, tips, labor tax all that.

Something like that, where if you have a problem you take it back to them and they fix it, it's always worth it.

Flowmaster=less power and economy.

Edit: Also, "after a month economy goes back up" but keep your foot off, make sure the pipe size is the same.
