Exhaust question

hey guys i have an 05 with a 4.6 and supercab with 6.5 bed.at the moment i have a si/so flowmaster 40series dumped over the rear end.i find this set up isnt loud enough.to me it seems like it has better tone than factory but lacks volume.i cant really explain it.
i know i dont want redneck pipes(2 pipes straight out the back)and im not really wanting an x pipe or straight pipes.maybe get rid of cats?shorty headers?rerouting tailpipe?
im not looking at power and mileage its a damn truck its big and slow lol.but i want some noise.it seems that almost all of these trucks sound the same on the internet so i cant really place anything with sound clips.any ideas really are appreciated.

Magnaflow makes great converters, I would deal with them. I'm not very well up with Catco and Dynomax and Bassani cats, I know the Magnaflow cats work and last which is whats necessary. They flow 40% better than OEM, and louden up exhausts by atleast half.

Just to take out stock ones, replace with magnaflow(if you provide) and move the 02s, prolly 50-75 bucks.

A shop will do the job for around $200 if you provide the cats.

okay that doesnt sound too bad im thinking about going with the magnaflow 40106 or something like that i think these are the ones the will bring the most sound.from what i see these cats look pretty cheap price wise.why will the o2 sensors need to be relocated why cant i leave them where they are?

About 65-70 a cat. Need to be relocated to avoid throwing a code.

40106? Did you mean the part #94106?

That cat will work right, and the rear O2s will need mounted after the hi-flow converters.

Its not at all cheap. Remember theres a liability issue, if something goes wrong they could get in trouble, and in many locations cat modification is illegal remember, $200 is a fair price for catalytic converter work.
