Bad milage

i have an 02 f150 fx4 3 inch body lift CAI straight pipe with a 4.6 all stock emmisions and for some reason im gettin like 10 or 11 mpg

and wonder if any one has any input why its so horrid

My guess is you love listening to the straght pipes and have your foot in it all the time.

Big tires? Stock gears? Put 2 and 2 together and what do you end up with? **** gas mileage.

i got 3.55s and 265-70-17 thats kinda why i puzzled i know big tires would tank the milage but its stock tire size and the stock factory gearing

I have a stock 2002 FX4 lariat with 3.55 gears and a 5.4 20k miles on the truck...
I'm getting about 11mpg
I wouldnt complain at all.. that 3 inch lift probley has alot to do with it..

the body lift has very little or nothing to do with it.

when was the last time you did a tune up?
