exhaust before rear wheels

hey yall i just joined here tonight and dont know how this all works. hopefully someone can help me out. my truck is a silver 2001 supercrew 4x2 and i have a custom H pipe, true dual flowmaster 1 chamber mufflers, and pipes comin straight out the back. ive been thinkin about gettin my tips relocated to before the rear wheels on each side. that being one pipe on each side of the truck at about 45 degrees angle or less. similar to a lighting but on both sides and with one tip each side. has anyone seen this setup? i cant find a picture online of it anywhere. thanks

You cant do it to the drivers side because the fuel tank is in the way, and its un-safe to route it below the tank.

First, let me say welcome. If you replace the cats with Highflow cats then you will notice the sound will be two or three times louder then what it currently is. When you do the highflows you replace all four cats not just the rear two. Performance part you will not notice much of a differance except maybe in the upper rpm's. Hope this helps.

You take out the four stock cats and replace them with two highflow cats. It's been a while since I had it done so I'm not sure of the cost. If I had to guess I would say 350 for everything(parts & labor)

If you remove your rear converters you may get a CEL. The front ones you wont. Hi-flow replacement converters you'll be fine.

What state do you live in?

Either find another shop, or obey the law and dont risk a cat converter modification fine.
