whats the difference???

whats the difference???

i have a 06 5.4 and i currently have a SI/SO magnaflow magnapack and 2 94106 magnaflow hi flow cats...i was thinking about changing to true dual straights dumped like another member on here i forgot his name but he has a lifted white 06 anyways i was wondering if i should do a x pipe or a h pipe or anything there at all let me know what you think would sound best and what the differences are between them...and how much of a power loss am i lookin at go from SI/SO to true duals

You'll definitely wanna X pipe it. Best scavenging affect for dual pipes. Straight with hi-flows it will sure roar. That member is Ugacoop16

Haha I knew u would come thru but yea that's him and what the difference between x and h pipe and how much of a power loss am I looking at

Always will H pipe will allow more sound but wont balanced as well as the X. The X calms down alot of rasp and crackle and crossflows it excellently giving you better low end power such as a single exhausts low end power that the H cannot.

Got to it, before I did haha. But yeah, go with X pipe over the H pipe. Better for everything, except exhaust volume. As far as performance an a more muscular sound, go with the X pipe.
