Good choice! I love mine. It will sound great! Nice you didn't have to jack the truck up.

I just made a 200 mile trip in it today and almost couldn't hear it at all on the freeway. The MT's are louder for sure. I did notice it seems to already be a little louder, but that could be just my hope of it getting louder. I'd definitely like it to be louder than it is now. Hopefully the next month or so we'll find out
Any updates on how loud your exhaust has gotten since you first put it on?

Definitely got louder after about 1000 miles or so. I still can't hardly hear it inside the cab, which is good, but it definitely has a louder note to it.

I'm about to add hi-flow cats to it here in a couple weeks and can't wait to see how much louder it gets then

Correct, it's made by Borla, so you know its a good muffler On my next F-150, I am gonna buy the kit, sell the pipes and tips and have a shop use the muffler and duplicate the one I have now on this truck. Then I'll have two loud trucks

Overall it fits very well. The hardest part was removing the stock crap that had been nearly welded together at the clamps. The install went pretty well and only took about 2 hours total. Unfortunately the tips don't sit perfectly even. The passenger side tip looks perfect, but the driver side one sits a little too high and slighty rubs the bumper. I plan on having that fixed soon enough anyway. Other than that it fits very well.

I don't have any video clips yet because it's so quiet as most know. Apparently this will get a little or a lot louder as time goes on, so I will wait until then to get any video.

All the spots and liquid everywhere is the Liquid Wrench I used on all the factory bolts, clamps, and hangers to make everything come off easier. I sprayed it about 2 hours before getting started and all the bolts came out pretty easily. Like I said overall I am very pleased with it so far, just want to get that slight adjustment made on the driver side tip and hopefully lower it a little bit. If anyone has this exhaust with a similar issue, I'd love to know how you solved it.
Looks awesome! I noticed what looks like some rust on the end of the muffler. What is the life expectancy of these catback systems? I'd like to get one, but I don't want to shell out $400-$500 every couple of years. I live in Ohio so we do see some salt and brine on the roads every winter.

Thanks,
mikebaby

That's not rust. No way in the world I would have installed it if it already had rust on it. That is a combination of discoloration from the welds and a crappy camera

It is a full stainless system which is the best to use for anywhere with the salty roads. I don't live in one of those types of areas, but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate to put this system on that truck too.
