18" magnaflow???

18" magnaflow???

i am buying an 18" magnaflow si/do from a forum member....what will my truck sound like with the maggie and the rear cats removed......03 5.4L screw? thinking about 2.5" duals????

Listen to mine and imagine it 40% quieter. Actually better one yet, I bet it will sound like the way my 11" bodies not broken in with true duals, and all stock cats

It will sound just like that, but it will def. sound good.

As long as your rear O2s are mounted after the hi-flow cats you'll be alright.

You'll get a CEL since your rear cats burn exhaust gases. Your pre-cats resonate sound. On 04s & 05s its the exact opposite.

yeah now i am leaning towards just getting a 14" maggie sido and leaving the cats on!

You can still get hi-flow cats, and remove the pre-cats.

i know, but i am on a limited budget and really don't want to buy new cats! just gonna go with some a 14" mag with 2.5" duals!

Andy-jr i still think your truck sounds sweet. i think it was watching your video that made me decide to get the highflows, honestly haha. cept your tone is alot clearer than mine is with the super44. what were the rpms at the driveby do you remember?

yeah that sounds just a little too loud for what I want! I think that I will be happy with a 14" magnaflow with 2.5" duals!

I'm not sure but I know I was not trying to get on it so people could see what it sounded like in everyday driving.
