Help Please!!
well i finally got my truck leveled and got some new tires...(BFG All Terrain 305/55/R20's)...
..now i need to add some aftermarket exhaust..the only problem is i know ABSOLUTELY nothing about it at all...so any suggestions would be nice..it is a 2008 5.4L v8 king ranch...
here's what i'm looking for:
Nice Deep Sound
Not too loud..
Little interior noise..
any suggestions? i'll probably go with flow master bc that is what the local muffler shop around here advertises...also what are the best size tips? and what size pipe is best? i have no idea...thanks in advance for any advice...

You can never go wrong with a Flowmaster Original 40 series, or the Super 44. Neither of which will be "too" loud but might be for your taste, for a nice deep sound but not loud and little noise inside, I would recommend a Magnaflow. Darren will be around to give you more specs with Magnaflow. I'm fond of 3.5"x12" or 3.5x18" Tips myself, but it's all in what you like at the local shop you can look around at what they have!
Good luck, anymore questions just ask bud!
I would advize against Flowmaster and use a Magnaflow 14" SI/DO, 3" in, 2.5" dual out ( if your want dual tailpipes ) Much better sound than Flowmaster, deeper toned, and very low interior drone. Also Magnaflow is a better constructed muffler, all stainless steel and lifetime warranty. Flowmaster is poorly welded and aluminized steel.

That's why they call it slowmaster, or flowbastard, or my favorite Slowbastard haha. Ah Darren, but I thought you were going to put Super 44s on your truck?
Magnaflow will actually GAIN performance rather than lose lol
I probably will just so I can finally hear it. Never said they're staying on forever, they'll fall apart eventually.
thanks for all the advice..i think i will go with magnaflow...about how much does a typical installation usually cost..with dual tips..
