Exhust question

I have a 04' 5.4L with a 50s flowmaster single out. Is there any benefit to running dual pipes out of that single muffler? I assume it would be louder, but will I see any mileage increase or preformance? Thanks

nope, but if you want the look of dual exits add a highflow Y-pipe right after the muffler and run your pipes to the exit location of your choice

Not unless you have other performance mods, most people do it because they like the look and the sound. It will actually hurt performance and gas mileage.

Dual tailpipes on a single exit muffler will minorly decrease performance, a muffler with dual outlets that is actually made for it will perform better unless its chambered.
