Flowmaster 10 series question
Flowmaster 10 series question
Right now I have 40 series SIDO, but I have a 10 series muffler sitting in my room and I'm afraid of the low end loss it might cause. Will I lose any more power on the low end than I did with the 40's? I still have my two cats on also. Thanks for the help guys.
Alright guys thanks for the help...I'll prob have it put on tomorrow afternoon if they can get to it.

There will be a very very moderate loss due to tail pipes mounted to a Y pipe, but nothing noticeable unless you towing 5,000lbs+.
Not a dumb question. 10 series is 1 chamber instead of 2 or 3. It's virtually the same sound but a tad quieter than no muffler.
Ah that's interesting, guess it's the way it's designed and echoes off and what not
Yeah single chamber mufflers are louder than most straights. Straights rasp much more though, but the idle of a single chamber is much better than a straight systems is.
