Swapping exhaust 2008-2002

Anyone ever swap mustang manifolds off a 4.6 onto a F150 4.6? Reason I ask is I can get a complete exhaust system off of a 2008 Saleen mustang for free, (owner is going w/headers, x pipe, ect.) My truck is a 2002 4.6 I'd like to add the Sallen manifolds, run custom duals with an H pipe, and use the saleen high flow cats in place of the stock 4. Anyone know if they would swap, or have diagrams showing manifold measurements to compare them?

Thanks

The Mustang 4.6 is much different than the F150 4.6L, the F150s 4.6 is a Triton SOHC engine, while the Mustangs is a DOHC, many differences between the two. You could probably use the cats and mufflers, but the manifolds I doubt will match up, and true duals on trucks need ran on the passenger side.

Yes, the Mustang engines are modular, it means they are built on a line capable of switching production at a flick of a switch, that's all. Trust me, I'm laid off from doing just that. Seemless production. Anyways, the manifolds won't work as the stangs had a oval shape exhaust port, not round like the trucks. Mustangs are SOHC (GT), DOHC (COBRA from 96-99, 01, 03/04) and 3v (05-present) GT500 has a 5.4 DOHC.

It won't work, so you're better getting long tubes made for it and custom the rest. Too bad cuz it's free but sell it and fund yours!!!
