I'm running true duals 2.5" no mufflers. It's legal in Alabama. Not sure about what your state regulations are. It would basically be about 120-150 for pipe, and whatever the cost of the tips you choose are. I'll try to snap some pictures of my setup tomorrow for you though. So For me it would be about 240-260.

The loudest exhaust you can run is no exhaust what so ever, open headers! They're not legal and can cause engine damage, but it's loud as hell!

Loudest legal imo would be hi-flow cats, true duals without cross over, Dynomax Bullets dumped.

i have obx stainless LT's with resonators, to some rather large glasspacks which i hope to get enough time off to replace with home built glasspacks. i decided on 4x10" with 2.5ix3o, duals with complete stainless construction, even the packing will be stainless steel wool. that setup will be loud, probably illegal here since the law is if it can be heard at 25 ft away.

the loudest thing ive ever heard from a DD pavement pounder is my truck, LT's with resonators on the back of the LT's. it was loud enough cars passed me and it was a deafening roar. needless to say there was a cop there in 5 mins.
