4.6L exhaust help/imput

Here are the tips i plan to go with ( if you can find them cheaper PLEASE PLEASE let me know!!! )

truck will have True dual on it out the side , with an X and 2 mufflers, maggys:

i want it to purr, its my dads truck and he runs down the highway so there can be only very very little drown in the cab, he does not want to hear it going 70+.


any imput/advice on the set up, maybe someone can photochop those tips on a 97-03 body style out the side? thanks

yo man i got a magnaflow dual exhaust on my 05 4.6. i dokn't know if they will sound similiar to what u want.. but the sound is perfect. not too loud and there is no droning sound. at highway speeds it is perfect.. go with magnaflow man

Well why swap to the true dual system if your not going to have performance modifications and a tune to back it up? It'll be quieter with a single muffler and healthier. But you got the right idea, that setup will be quiet. Good price on those tips. Mine were $55 each so your doing good.

Yeah but there will still be a little low end loss. I noticed it, felt a little healthier after I pulled out the rear cats.
