Am I retarded or just blind?

So I was on Summit racing this morning and looking for the Super 44 dual out. Listed on the site are 3 SI/DO Super 44s. Two of them are 3.00 SI/2.50 DO. and the other is 2.50 SI/2.25 DO. Are these the only sizes it comes in for the dual out or am I missing something? Any feed back is appreciated.

Look on Flowmaster's site, take what part number you want and then put that in the part number search Summit has. Alot of times for example the flowmaster number will be #17745 so summit lists it as FLO-17745, so try that. This is how I found my rad for my car. The narrowing down didn't do this, a direct number however showed my exact rad. Sounds about right though for that muffler, but try.

thanks again. I'll never understand the maxium outlet size being 2.50 but oh well. You would think you could run 3.00 pipe the whole length.

For a SI/DO muffler, the outlets need to be a half inch, or 3/4 smaller because its healthier for the exhaust flow, it keeps the pressure properly balanced as it leaves the muffler and flows well through the tailpipes. If you have a 2.5" inlet muffler with 2.5" tailpipes its basically gonna flow into the tailpipes and leave the tailpipes without enough pressure to run healthy and strong.

Grew up around performance, not so much around engines but i've changed exhausts many of times and learned, studies from these forums has helped some too. I really learned that true duals on a stock engine wasn't too great on these forums.
