Just got my super 44 but have a ??

I got the super 44 in today and headed to the exhaust shop tomorrow. The inlet is a 3.0 inch and my pipe is 2.5 inch there is a way that the shop can make that work right?

Actually, instead of doing it the cheap way, try to have the Y pipe connection chopped and have a dual 2.5" to single 3" Y pipe piece installed. The factory Y pipe restricts mainly due to that connection. Two 2.5" banks merging into that 2.5" intermediate pipe = quieter and minimal loss, if you had that gone and ran an entire 3" intermediate pipe your performance will be a little more improved, and the sound will hit the muffler better helping it sound louder and much better. 2.5" flowing into a 3" pipe them the muffler will lose some of its force and hit the muffler creating a calmer note.

This little piece will be just right. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku Or check what your exhaust shop has to offer.

Yeah if the shop doesn't have an adaptor they can most likey fab up a piece that will go from 2.5" to 3". That's what the shop I took mine to did and it's even a smoother transition from 2.5" to 3" than most adaptors that I've seen.
