what is the point of the stainless tips that they sell at like autozone? are they just for looks

 

I dont know about your autozone, but mine only sells cheap chrome plated $15 tips. Stainless will last, through everything, and wont rust for years and years to come. Stainless tips average $30 - $60 per tip, and are very well worth it for us northern bound people.
