Performance a little bit, sound very much more sound, loud enough to keep up with the Chevys sounds. Ford OEM cats are very restricted/resonant. Magnaflow cats part #s 94306, 94006, and 94106 will work properly on your truck. Depending what model cats you have ( 2 big cats or the 4 12" cats ) the rear O2 will need to me mounted after the hi-flows.

$67 - $84 each, $50 or so installed, or trade them your stock cats because the metals inside them ( Rhodium & platnum ) are in a pretty good value.

No, you can replace the 4 stock cats with 2 high flows.

You only need 2 aftermarket cats, unless your inspection/emissions says you need the amount that it originally came equipped for.

headers or hi flow converters?

converters just get on ebay and look for a warehouse that sells them for 65.10 a piece, thats where i got mine, 94106 is the loudest converter magnaflow makes, i think you can order from performancepeddler for a little cheaper, im not sure but ebay got mine here in 3 days and they were really magnaflow 94106
