lookin for the loudest muffler possible

Alright so i have a 2000 f150 5.4 v8, 4x4.
i have a p.o.s. flowmaster dump on it right now a single one. I am looking to get duals put on there for christmas and i need to know the loudest and best to get, because I have no clue.

I also have been told that i have 4 cats (catalytic converters) on it, is that true? If so im taking two of them bad boys off.

thanks

Yes you have 4 cats!
You can cut off 2 but it would be better to cut off all 4 and replace with 2 high flow cats.
I like my p.o.s. Flowmasters 40s. So Darren will be in here to help ya with your muffler choice.

Phil

loudest would be dynomax bullets, magnaflow magna packs, or sright piped. if you do cut cats only cut the back 2. of all 4 and get high flows

SLP loud mouth 1's are your loudest muffler option like Phil says go with 2 high flow cats and the SLP 1's and you'll be loud

flowmasters give a better souding note than the magnaflow's you are going to get recomended to use in the following posts

Those SLP mufflers sound god awful imo, too much rasp. Dynomax Bullets would be a good choice.

Well you do know that the 10 series is also a single chamber, those knock off ones only differ by not having Flowmaster stamped in them along with the patent, and some throw dual outlets on them.

Couldn't you just get a t-shirt that says "I'm desperate for attention" ? That way you wouldn't keep me up at night burning Daddy's gas.

whats Alzheimers like? do you yell at kids to get off your lawn? do you creepily smile at young girls?

calm down, the majority of people on this board are older (out of college) so you can stop with the holier-than-though attitude about talking down to teenagers treat others as equals.

Yeah SLP is loud, but sounds awful on anything imo, They make good performance parts, but their exhaust kits sound too raspy and ear scorching.

& I agree, Patricks truck sounds much better with the true dualed Bullets
