Loudest Magnaflow
Loudest Magnaflow
What's the part number for the loudest Maggie muffler, it's like an 11 inch model or something. Hopefully Darren will chime in since he knows all this stuff.
unfortunitly the shortest SI/DO they make is the 14" body, which is calmer than your 40 series. If you did some cat work ( hi-flows ) you could gain a real good sound with a 14" SI/DO, but it wont be the same as true duals.

The loudest Magnaflow is their Race muffler, second would be their 11" bodys/ 14" rounds.

hi-flow cats advantages of OEMs are direct flowing, and no sound resonating. You will gain a little economy with it, some low end torque, and 40% more sound.
Sounds like it would cost a lot to have a shop do all that labor though. I'll make some calls real quick.

It sounds like whoever your dealing with is charging you an arm and a leg... My true duals installed was $230, $510 total into my exhaust, and for you to do the same thing with different mufflers is running your $1600?
Ok called another shop and they just want $170 for the SIDO job if I bring all the stuff, and that's with smooth bent pipes. He said he might lower the price if I give him my old tips and 40. I'm definitely going with these guys.
why dont you keep your current tailpipes? that way you wont have to have pipes bent. and make sure you ask to keep the cats that way you can sell them and make some money. how much would they lower the price? tips arent cheap for the ss, and chrome tips are cheap all around(price and quality). i'd keep your whole setup and give them the flowmaster.
Tired of the shoddy Midas workmanship and the annoying 40.
The pipes Midas used are garbage crush bent pipes and the tips are chrome over steel. They started rusting on the inside on day one. It's only a matter of time before they rust through the chrome.
