im looking for some long tube headers i have found a pair of jba shorties but from what ive heard they dont make much power on the low end i CAN NOT find long tubes to save my life my buddy has the jba's on a 03 5.4 and removed 2 cats it sounds bad as hell so does anyone think i should go for the short tubes???

 

Pacesetter is coming out with LT's for the 4.6 in 2-3 months.

 

And as long as its a 4.6, you can run '97 - '03 4.6/5.4 2v headers, so you could fit those LTs. The 5.4 3v wont accept them though.

 

are you positive they would fit not doubting you darren and not saying that the website shopheaders.com is wrong or right but they were showing the only ones that would fit my truck are some jba shorty headers unless they have updated there website but ill check into it some more maybe match up the part numbers for the ones they say fit mine and ones that fit the older models

 

they'll bolt up to the heads but not too sure if they will actually bolt up to the existing exhaust. I doubt it will.
