which exhaust?!

so i have the 40 series flowmaster exhaust on my 2004 screw, the single pipe out the back. i want to upgrade to a dual exhaust. which one is better, flowmasters or magnaflow? i was told that the single pipe is louder and i like my exhaust to be a nice loud rumble. is it really worth upgrading? and which brand is louder? advantages/disadvantages of both? please help! thanks.

i know that on magnaflows-a 3" siso is quieter than a 3"si2.5"do,i'd assume it is the same with flowmaster

Well I would go with Maganaflow. Our Mufflers or systems will give off a deep tone with a flowmaster you get a deep tinny sound. I like the Magnaflows sound over a Flowmaster and Im not just saying this cuz I work here at Magnaflow. I have had both in the past and really like the fit and quality of the Magnaflow so much that I got a job here. Plus we are backed by a Lifetime Warranty against Manufacture Defect..

x2. And being made of T-409 stainless is nice too over cheap aluminized steel.
