Question which headers?

i'm looking for relatively cheap (under $550) headers for a 1995 f150 5.0L 4x4 that will add HP & TQ or add one without losing any of the other. i was thinking about a pair from hedmann cant remember the name, they were long tubes, thicker than normal with some type of coating but cheaper than the Elites

Pacesetter may be your best choice. You can get a set of nice polished stainless ones that will last for that price.

Go with JBA headers. They are the toughest headers out there and they work. I ran them on my ranger and mustang and never had a single leak. The shorty design will give you nice hp & tq. You can get a set in stainless for around $350 but i would recommend spending the extra for ceramic coating.

I agree with 50Ranger. the "Chrome" on the JBA Headers for my Mustang lasted all of about a month - Now they're rusty and heat blue.

Summit has alot of choices for you - I'm guessing your 5.0L is a 302? I'm not sure what brand to go with though:

yeah its a 5.0L 302 only problem with finding a good set of headers is the 4x4 thats why i was lookin at the hedmanns that i can't seem to find, i think they were HTC's or something like that, had some type of heat resistant coating and were thicker gauge than regular headers. they were more expensive than their regulars and cheaper than their elites.. maybe they were another brand thats why i cant find them haha

I have had my JBA Cermic coated headers for over two years and no complaints or problems. My set-up gave me 231 RWHP when dynoed.
