Did you order headers for a 5.4, or did you actually find some that specified that they were for a 4.6? Linky?

 

they were specified for a 97-99 f150 4.6 4wd $278

Now im pissed... alamo motorsports called me and said they went to place the order with pacesetter and pacesetter said the headers were on back order with no idea when they would ever be out. they said to call back in a cpl weeks but i doubt theyll ever even make em. damnit.

 

well sheet.. Can you get a refund and buy elsewhere?

 

5.4 headers will fit... it was a pain. i had to unbolt ***** motor mounts and lift it up and it slid right in... w/ a little force... but well worth it

 

yea i got my money back. polpilot i had heard you can fit 5.4 headers but need to do something to the egr tube fitting what all did you have to do to your whole setup to make it work as far as as o2 sensors cats egr tube stuff like that n what kind of gaskets did you use

 

Yes 5.34 headers will fit, as far as the egr i blocked it off and had my tune written to delete it, and o2 sensors, the headers came with wire to extens the passengers side to make it long enough, and i deleted the rears too becuz i dont have cats... im in oklahoma so i dont have to do emitions... and i used factory manifould gaskets from felpro i got from autozone. they work better then the paper ones that come with the headers...
