Long Tube Question

I found these headers on Summit:

$285 for a set of long tubes from Pacesetter. Has anyone dealt with Pacesetter before? Are they a good quality product? My truck has the 5.4 3V and it's a 4WD.

Tip for you, do not post the same question in multiple forums.

Many have dealt with Pacesetter, they are a pretty good brand. What makes them so affordable is the material they are made of, steel, so there is a possibility of them rusting and cracking after a few years due to high heat, and winter salt, though being in TX I dont think that is a issue with you. True stainless or iron headers are better.

Won't do it again, sorry about that.

Would powdercoating them or anything help to make them last longer? I guess it would help with the salt but the heat would probably still get it huh? I have never dealt with headers before so I don't know much about them.

Some people wrap heat tape around them, but theres still the posibility of too much heat cracking them 3yrs later or so.
