Thank you, Klitch. I think I'd rather just buy a muffler.

Alrighty, narrowed it down slightly. I'm down to the Dynomax bullet, 10 series Flow, and XR-1. Listened to a clip of Coobie's F150 with a SLP shotgun resonator (AKA Loudmouth I) on it that sounded badass, there's another possibility.

The ultra-flo sounds great, but is kinda muffled, I prefer more of an open exhaust note. I can't find **** on the outlaw race Flow, but it's for full blown drag cars anyway. The magnaflow, well, I just don't like magnaflow. I've listened to TONS of clips of all their different products and I just don't care for the sound. Their race muffler sounds like straight pipe with cotton shoved in the tail pipe.

Alrighty, I got tired of screwing around and searching so I ordered all my stuff today. Dual 2.5"-Single 3" stainless Magnaflow Y pipe, 5' of 3" stainless tubing, and a 3" in/out Dynomax race bullet. Total w/ shipping came out to $125.14. Not bad at all!! I'll update with pics after the install. I'll have to see if I can borrow a camera and maybe get some sound clips. Thanks for the suggestions ya'll!

Well, I had my exhaust installed today. Turns out I had no use for the magnaflow Y pipe I ordered, so that''s for sale. (stainless dual 2.5"-single 3") The exhaust shop cut my factory y pipe in half and oval-ed my 3" stainless pipe to fit. Turns out 5' is exactly enough to run my setup. I went with the dynomax race bullet, part number 24222. I could Not be happier with the way it turned out. It looks great and sounds amazing. No raspy noise at all. Extremely deep and aggressive tone. Deep and quiet at idle and loud as all hell at WOT. I''m so pleased at how this turned out that I am no longer concerned with high flow cats and am pretty sure I''m done with my exhaust. Performance wise the truck feels better on the low end and a Definite improvement on the top end. Here''s a couple pics. Enjoy! Sound clips when I can.

Looks like a good install. Great to hear your pleased with your new exhaust. How about a good video clip of it?

lol, I was waiting for someone to ask. I was pushing off the tire to roll my creeper. I haven't blown the driveway in a while so there were pebbles and crap.

Finally took some videos. They're not the best quality, but they'll do. Youtube takes forever to upload these things!!

Use the Beta uploader, it's fast!

Sounds really good man! Not loud, but good.

You happy with it?

Oh, to answer your question. I love the exhaust. I think it's the perfect balance of volume and tone for me. It's a LOT louder than it sounds in the video, but no where near obnoxious.

Sounds excellent. Perfect tone. Cant imagine it with the rear cats removed.
