i have been looking all over and can't seem to find a cat back flowmaster exhaust to fit 00 f150 5.4L super cab short bed that uses their 10 series mufflers, was thinking of buying thier "force II dual side exit system" replace the 50 series muffler with a 10 series muffler then Y pipe to the rest of the system i have only seen the 10 series muffler in SI/SO do they make it in SI/DO for a direct replacement to the 50 series????

any thoughts or suggestions

Flowmaster, and every other exhaust company, does not provide race series mufflers in 50 state legal cat-back exhausts. That is something you will have to get done custom. Buy one muffler ( SI/SO is the only available configuration ) or two if you want true duals, and have the exhaust shop make your exhaust. I would go this route because buying an entire cat-back is a hell of alot more expensive than giving a shop $100 - $200 to bend and install your exhaust, if you provide mufflers and tailpipes. And a Flowmaster cat-back is still aluminized steel, so you may as well have the shop do it.

 

I have a flowmaster 10 series that is si/do. Darren are you saying they dont make them? If you are then i need to make sure they didnt give me some knock off flowmaster.

Flowmaster Inc. has never manufactured a SI/DO 10 series, or 30 series race muffler. So it is not a true Flowmaster, could be a knock off, or Cherry Bomb Extreme.
