New Magnaflow

I priced a SI/SO magnaflow muffler installed today. They quoted me a price of about 150. Just wondering if this sounds right.

Which muffler do you think I should go with? I would like to have nice noticeble sound but not so loud I can't hear the person next to me.

14" Body.

It will be a bit quiet until it breaks in, but after 1,000 i will be very noticeable outside. Still calm inside.

That is what I was thinking. At first thought 11" but figured it would be pretty loud after it was broke in.

You will hear the 11" rumble a bit in cab more, and it is as loud as a 2 chamber Flowmaster outside. I still wish mine was louder though.

The 14" should be exactly what you want.

I'll probably be saying the same thing but I don't think the wife wants it real loud. I was also thinking of removing the rear cats. that would help with the sound too right?

Sound yes, but will cause you to fail inspection and emissions if you have emissions.

It would probably be as loud as mine afterward.

Don't have to worry about emissions where I live that's the only reason I'm considering it.
